The West Seattle Tool Library is a non-profit that relies solely on your generous donations to continue and develop our operations. Every dollar counts!

Do you have tools that you don’t use? Give them new life and donate them to the Tool Library. We can even repair them.

We are happy to receive almost any tool donation! The only requirements are that all donated tools must be in working (or servicable) order. Below are some suggestions, with the high priority items in italics. To donate a tool, please e-mail or bring it in to the library during any open hours. Antique tools are also welcome!

Needed Items:

Hammer Drills, Jackhammers, Rototillers, Pneumatic Nailers (all kinds), laser level, OBDII Reader, Digital Inspections Camera, high quality pressure-washers, cement mixer, reciprocating saws, chainsaws, small air compressors, portable band saws, electric impact wrench

Donate Time! There are many ways to volunteer for the Tool Library. Check out our events for volunteer nights. You can even exchange volunteer hours for shop hours.

In addition to the general satisfaction of helping to grow and maintain a fun community resource, all of our volunteers also receive workshop credit for the time they volunteer. This credit can then be exchanged for workshop rentals or classes.
